Medicare Overview
During our initial call, we will discuss your specific needs to determine:
Do you need to sign up for Medicare now? Or can it wait until later without penalty?
Are there specific doctors you want to try to keep?
Is a drug plan important to you?
Do you want the freedom to use doctors outside of your home area?
Does a set monthly budget interest you?
Part A

Most people are entitled to Part A (Hospital Insurance) after paying Medicare taxes for at least 10 years.

Part B
Must enroll in Part B; can be subject to a penalty if you don't sign up within a specified timeframe. Covers a variety of outpatient services including doctors visits, durable medical equipment, and preventative services. Monthly premium is required.
Part C (Medicare Advantage)
Private insurance companies offer plans that include Part A and Part B, and many times Part D (Drug Plan). May also include Dental, Vision, and Hearing, among other benefits.
Part D (Drug Plan)
Helps to pay for prescription drugs. There are standalone plans, or coverage may be included in Medicare Advantage
Medicare Supplement Plan (Medigap)
Also provided by private insurance companies, plans that fill in 'gaps' that original Medicare doesn't cover. Can pay some of the co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles.
